About ATP
ATP works with individual and industrial customers, manufacturers, and the agricultural community providing metal fabrication services, retail sales of steel and welding supplies, and welding equipment repair.
ATP Welding was established in 1992 by Rick and Joyce Scott, primarily providing mobile welding services and installation of industrial and sporting goods equipment.
In 1999, ATP’s first permanent building was erected in Boone County. The building provided a base for the mobile service and also enabled ATP to open a retail store offering a wide selections of steel and welding supplies to the public.
Due to continued growth, the building was expanded in 2008. This addition allows ATP to handle large fabrication projects without impeding the operations of the steel warehouse.
When Rick and Joyce made the decision to retire in 2022, ATP was acquired by North American VRC.
